And Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.


When they heard this they were silenced. And they glorified God, saying, “Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance unto life.”


But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may accomplish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.


I tell you, No; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.


For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation and brings no regret, but worldly grief produces death.


because, if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.


to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’


and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.


Who is it that overcomes the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?


but declared first to those at Damascus, then at Jerusalem and throughout all the country of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God and perform deeds worthy of their repentance.


Every one who believes that Jesus is the Christ is a child of God, and every one who loves the parent loves the child.


because I hear of your love and of the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and all the saints,


For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints,


I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.


Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.


but for ours also. It will be reckoned to us who believe in him that raised from the dead Jesus our Lord,


For I am not ashamed of the gospel: it is the power of God for salvation to every one who has faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.


The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all men everywhere to repent,


So they went out and preached that men should repent.


and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe in the gospel.”


From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”


But the scripture consigned all things to sin, that what was promised to faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.


yet who know that a man is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ, and not by works of the law, because by works of the law shall no one be justified.


For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom,


Or do you presume upon the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience? Do you not know that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?


I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish:


When they had appointed a day for him, they came to him at his lodging in great numbers. And he expounded the matter to them from morning till evening, testifying to the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus both from the law of Moses and from the prophets.


And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”


To him all the prophets bear witness that every one who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”


Now when they had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.


Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,


And he testified with many other words and exhorted them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.”


but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.


He who believes in the Son has eternal life; he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God rests upon him.


Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”


Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.


I tell you, No; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”


“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”


For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ.


After some days Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was a Jewess; and he sent for Paul and heard him speak upon faith in Christ Jesus.


And this became known to all residents of Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks; and fear fell upon them all; and the name of the Lord Jesus was extolled.


for I have five brothers, so that he may warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.’


except that the Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that imprisonment and afflictions await me.
