13 But rejoice in so far as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.

and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.


More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,


that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,


Our hope for you is unshaken; for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort.


And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, and strengthen you.

But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them,


Then the King will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;


“When the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.


His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master.’

And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.


It will be said on that day, “Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the Lord; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”


Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, every one who pierced him; and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.


so will it be on the day when the Son of man is revealed.


For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of man also be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”


I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.


For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.


For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.


Now to him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you without blemish before the presence of his glory with rejoicing,
