6 You’ll hear about wars, and you’ll hear people saying there are going to be wars. Don’t be afraid. Those things will happen, but that won’t be the end.

And don’t be afraid when you hear about wars and revolts. Those things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.”


“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe in me too.


not to become easily upset or alarmed. If you receive a message that’s supposedly from us, and it says that the day of the Lord has already come, don’t get upset, whether that message is spoken or written or prophesied.


Peace I leave with you; I give my peace to you. I don’t give to you the way the world does. So don’t let your hearts be distressed, and don’t be afraid.


This good news of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come.


Remain strong in the faith, and you will receive eternal life.


It is written, ‘He was counted among those who had committed crimes.’ I tell you that what is written about me must come true. In fact, it is already coming true.”


But then how would the Scriptures come true? They say it has to happen in this way.”


When King Herod heard about this, he became very concerned, as did everyone else in Jerusalem.


Another horse came out that was red like fire. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. He was given a large sword.
