Matthew 2:16 - Radiate New Testament

16 When Herod realized that the wise men had tricked him, he became very angry. He gave orders to kill all the boys two years old and younger who were living in Bethlehem and the area around it. This was because the wise men had first seen the star two years earlier.

I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints, those who are witnesses about Jesus. When I saw her, I was very amazed.


Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea while Herod was king. Wise men then came from the east to Jerusalem


Then Herod spoke privately with the wise men and found out exactly when the star had appeared.


This made the words of Jeremiah the prophet come true. He had said,


The dragon’s tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and threw them down to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to have a baby, because he wanted to devour her child the moment he was born.
