1 The Lord doth reign, and cloth'd is he with majesty most bright; His works do shew him cloth'd to be, and girt about with might. The world is also stablished, that it cannot depart.

Among the heathen say, God reigns; the world shall stedfastly Be fix'd from moving; he shall judge the people righteously.


Th' eternal Lord doth reign as king, let all the people quake; He sits between the cherubims, let th' earth be mov'd and shake.


The Lord prepared hath his throne in heavens firm to stand; And ev'ry thing that being hath his kingdom doth command.


Who, being girt with pow'r, sets fast by his great strength the hills.


God reigneth, let the earth be glad, and isles rejoice each one.


In wrath consume them, them consume, that so they may not be: And that in Jacob God doth rule to th' earth's ends let them see.


Thy kingdom shall for ever stand, thy reign through ages all.


'Tis God that girdeth me with strength, and perfect makes my way.


Dissolved is the land, with all that in the same do dwell; But I the pillars thereof do Bear up, and stablish well.


Who noise of seas, noise of their waves, and people's tumult, stills.
