O God, why hast thou cast us off? is it for evermore? Against thy pasture-sheep why doth thine anger smoke so sore?


My people Isr'el hear, speak will I from on high, Against thee I will testify; God, ev'n thy God, am I.


'Gainst thee, thee only, have I sinn'd, in thy sight done this ill; That when thou speak'st thou may'st be just, and clear in judging still.


The mighty God, the Lord, hath spoken, and did call The earth, from rising of the sun, to where he hath his fall.
