They only plot to cast him down from his excellency: They joy in lies; with mouth they bless, but they curse inwardly.


Behold, thou in the inward parts with truth delighted art; And wisdom thou shalt make me know within the hidden part.


Thy tongue mischievous calumnies deviseth subtilely, Like to a razor sharp to cut, working deceitfully.


They have search'd out iniquities, a perfect search they keep: Of each of them the inward thought, and very heart, is deep.


Surely mean men are vanity, and great men are a lie; In balance laid, they wholly are more light than vanity.


O Lord, instruct me in thy way, to me a leader be In a plain path, because of those that hatred bear to me.
