God's near to all that call on him, in truth that on him call.


God also will a refuge be for those that are oppress'd; A refuge will he be in times of trouble to distress'd.


Our God, who is the Lord of hosts, is still upon our side; The God of Jacob our refuge for ever will abide.


I cry'd to thee; I said, Thou art my refuge, Lord, alone; And in the land of those that live thou art my portion.


The Lord of hosts upon our side doth constantly remain: The God of Jacob's our refuge, us safely to maintain.


You shame the counsel of the poor, because God is his trust.


How lovely is thy dwelling-place, O Lord of hosts, to me! The tabernacles of thy grace how pleasant, Lord, they be!


O Lord, thou hast been favourable to thy beloved land: Jacob's captivity thou hast recall'd with mighty hand.


All lands to God in joyful sounds, aloft your voices raise.


Great is the Lord, and greatly he is to be praised still, Within the city of our God, upon his holy hill.


Upon the hills of holiness he his foundation sets.


Like as the hart for water-brooks in thirst doth pant and bray; So pants my longing soul, O God, that come to thee I may.
