The days of old to mind I call'd, and oft did think upon The times and ages that are past full many years agone.


Like as the hart for water-brooks in thirst doth pant and bray; So pants my longing soul, O God, that come to thee I may.


They shall come, and they shall declare his truth and righteousness Unto a people yet unborn, and that he hath done this.


And now, Lord, leave me not, when I old and gray-headed grow: Till to this age thy strength and pow'r to all to come I show.
