My lovers and my friends do stand at distance from my sore; And those do stand aloof that were kinsmen and kind before.


Thou hast put far from me my friends, thou mad'st them to abhor me; And I am so shut up, that I find no evasion for me.


My friends thou hast put far from me, and him that did me love; And those that mine acquaintance were to darkness didst remove.


So their own tongue shall them confound; all who them see shall fly.


But as for me, a worm I am, and as no man am priz'd: Reproach of men I am, and by the people am despis'd.
