Create a clean heart, Lord, renew a right sp'rit me within.


Yet God is good to Israel, to each pure-hearted one.


Mine hands in innocence, O Lord, I'll wash and purify; So to thine holy altar go, and compass it will I:


According to my righteousness he did me recompense, He me repaid according to my hands' pure innocence.


At morn let me thy kindness hear; for in thee do I trust. Teach me the way that I should walk: I lift my soul to thee.


In whose eyes vile men are despis'd; but those that God do fear He honoureth; and changeth not, though to his hurt he swear.


Restore me thy salvation's joy; with thy free Sp'rit me stay.
