The waters' channels then were seen, the world's foundations vast At thy rebuke discover'd were, and at thy nostrils' blast.


By him divided was the sea, he caus'd them through to pass; And made the waters so to stand, as like an heap it was.


Into dry land the sea he turn'd, and they a passage had; Ev'n marching through the flood on foot, there we in him were glad.
