Yet say they, God it shall not see, nor God of Jacob know.


And thus they say, How can it be that God these things doth know? Or, Can there in the Highest be knowledge of things below?


Within his heart he thus hath said, I shall not moved be; And no adversity at all shall ever come to me.


In ill encourage they themselves, and their snares close do lay: Together conference they have; Who shall them see? they say.


But thou, O Lord, shalt laugh at them, and all the heathen mock.


They have search'd out iniquities, a perfect search they keep: Of each of them the inward thought, and very heart, is deep.
