³⁸ His followers said, “Sir, we’ve got 2 long knives here.” Jesus said, “We don’t need to talk about that any more.” (We have not yet translated 22:39—23:4. You can read those stories and messages in Mark 14:32—15:5. They are about what happened after Jesus and his followers finished eating that Passover dinner. They are about how Jesus’s enemies grabbed him and took him to court. The name of the judge was Pilate.)
