You will make them like a fiery furnace when you appear. The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath, and fire will consume them.


On the wicked he will rain coals of fire and sulfur; a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.


I overthrew some of you, as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were like a brand snatched from the fire; yet you did not return to me, says the Lord.


A stream of fire issued and flowed out from his presence. A thousand thousands served him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood attending him. The court sat in judgment, and the books were opened.


And fire came out from the Lord and consumed the two hundred fifty men offering the incense.

O God, why do you cast us off forever? Why does your anger smoke against the sheep of your pasture?


Our God comes and does not keep silence, before him is a devouring fire, and a mighty tempest all around him.


the Lord will be unwilling to pardon them, for the Lord's anger and passion will smoke against them. All the curses written in this book will descend on them, and the Lord will blot out their names from under heaven.


Now when the people complained in the hearing of the Lord about their misfortunes, the Lord heard it and his anger was kindled. Then the fire of the Lord burned against them, and consumed some outlying parts of the camp.


From its mouth go flaming torches; sparks of fire leap out.


Whoever flees at the sound of the terror shall fall into the pit; and whoever climbs out of the pit shall be caught in the snare. For the windows of heaven are opened, and the foundations of the earth tremble.
