Then he got into the boat with them and the wind ceased. And they were utterly astounded,


And immediately the girl got up and began to walk about (she was twelve years of age). At this they were overcome with amazement.


And they were filled with great awe and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”


And he stood up, and immediately took the mat and went out before all of them; so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”


God saw everything that he had made, and indeed, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.


I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; that I know very well.


When the crowds saw what Paul had done, they shouted in the Lycaonian language, “The gods have come down to us in human form!”


And we indeed have been condemned justly, for we are getting what we deserve for our deeds, but this man has done nothing wrong.”


They were all amazed, and they kept on asking one another, “What is this? A new teaching—with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.”


On that day the deaf shall hear the words of a scroll, and out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind shall see.


After they had gone away, a demoniac who was mute was brought to him.


Then Jesus ordered them to tell no one; but the more he ordered them, the more zealously they proclaimed it.


In those days when there was again a great crowd without anything to eat, he called his disciples and said to them,
