A trader, in whose hands are false balances, he loves to oppress.


You shall have honest balances, honest weights, an honest ephah, and an honest hin: I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.


bringing offerings is futile; incense is an abomination to me. New moon and sabbath and calling of convocation— I cannot endure solemn assemblies with iniquity.


Differing weights are an abomination to the Lord, and false scales are not good.


Honest balances and scales are the Lord's; all the weights in the bag are his work.


A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but an accurate weight is his delight.


He said, “Why go to him today? It is neither new moon nor sabbath.” She said, “It will be all right.”


Also on your days of rejoicing, at your appointed festivals, and at the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over your sacrifices of well-being; they shall serve as a reminder on your behalf before the Lord your God: I am the Lord your God.


If you refrain from trampling the sabbath, from pursuing your own interests on my holy day; if you call the sabbath a delight and the holy day of the Lord honorable; if you honor it, not going your own ways, serving your own interests, or pursuing your own affairs;


Therefore do not let anyone condemn you in matters of food and drink or of observing festivals, new moons, or sabbaths.


“What a weariness this is,” you say, and you sniff at me, says the Lord of hosts. You bring what has been taken by violence or is lame or sick, and this you bring as your offering! Shall I accept that from your hand? says the Lord.


You yourself are to speak to the Israelites: “You shall keep my sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, given in order that you may know that I, the Lord, sanctify you.
