Bold as a lion you hunt me; you repeat your exploits against me.


For the arrows of the Almighty are in me; my spirit drinks their poison; the terrors of God are arrayed against me.


because of your indignation and anger, for you have lifted me up and thrown me aside.


For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was dried up as by the heat of summer. Selah


O Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath.


Deep calls to deep at the thunder of your torrents; all your waves and your billows have gone over me.


I am weary with my crying; my throat is parched. My eyes grow dim with waiting for my God.


For we are consumed by your anger; by your wrath we are overwhelmed.
