I am counted among those who go down to the Pit; I am like those who have no help,


Therefore the time is surely coming, says the Lord, when I will punish her idols, and through all her land the wounded shall groan.


They cry to their mothers, “Where is bread and wine?” as they faint like the wounded in the streets of the city, as their life is poured out on their mothers’ bosoms.

After he had said this, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.
