And Bilhah conceived and bore Jacob a son.


Rachel’s maid Bilhah conceived again and bore Jacob a second son.


The sons of Bilhah, Rachel’s maid: Dan and Naphtali.


The children of Dan: Hashum.


Vindicate me, O Lord, my God, according to your righteousness, and do not let them rejoice over me.

And of Dan he said, “Dan is a lion’s whelp that leaps forth from Bashan.”
