“See, I waited for your words; I listened for your wise sayings while you searched out what to say.


What should be done then, my brothers and sisters? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.


Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others weigh what is said.


For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all be encouraged


Now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I benefit you unless I speak to you in some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or teaching?
