they will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.”


The nations are in an uproar, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts.


If they plan evil against you, if they devise mischief, they will not succeed.


But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him and get his inheritance.’


Band together, you peoples, and be dismayed; listen, all you far countries; gird yourselves and be dismayed; gird yourselves and be dismayed!


I beat them fine, like dust before the wind; I cast them out like the mire of the streets.


When they heard this, they were enraged and wanted to kill them.


For he will be handed over to the Gentiles; and he will be mocked and insulted and spat upon.


The crowd joined in attacking them, and the magistrates had them stripped of their clothing and ordered them to be beaten with rods.


They were greatly pleased and agreed to give him money.


The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah


I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.


Do not forget the clamor of your foes, the uproar of your adversaries that goes up continually.


They lay crafty plans against your people; they consult together against those you protect.
