Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight.


The heart is devious above all else; it is perverse— who can understand it?


And he said to humankind, ‘Truly, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.’ ”


If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given you.


For this reason the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God's law—indeed it cannot,


and how from childhood you have known the sacred writings that are able to instruct you for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.


Hazael said, “What is your servant, who is a mere dog, that he should do this great thing?” Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you are to be king over Aram.”


It will save you from the way of evil, from those who speak perversely,


Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.


Do you see persons wise in their own eyes? There is more hope for fools than for them.
