I have been paid in full and have more than enough; I am fully satisfied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God.


And now let this present that your servant has brought to my lord be given to the young men who follow my lord.


Naaman said, “Please accept two talents.” He urged him, and tied up two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of clothing, and gave them to two of his servants, who carried them in front of Gehazi.

Jacob said, “No, please; if I find favor with you, then accept my present from my hand; for truly to see your face is like seeing the face of God—since you have received me with such favor.


Then Esau said, “Let us journey on our way, and I will go alongside you.”


So the present passed on ahead of him; and he himself spent that night in the camp.
