I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery;


Yet I have been the Lord your God ever since the land of Egypt; you know no God but me, and besides me there is no savior.


I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be their slaves no more; I have broken the bars of your yoke and made you walk erect.


I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide and I will fill it.


Moses said to the people, “Remember this day on which you came out of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, because the Lord brought you out from there by strength of hand; no leavened bread shall be eaten.


You shall have honest balances, honest weights, an honest ephah, and an honest hin: I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.


It was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath that he swore to your ancestors, that the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.


Remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the sabbath day.


so that your generations may know that I made the people of Israel live in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.


Remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God redeemed you; for this reason I lay this command upon you today.


Stone them to death for trying to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.


You shall make for yourselves no idols and erect no carved images or pillars, and you shall not place figured stones in your land, to worship at them; for I am the Lord your God.


But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.


“Hear, O my people, and I will speak, O Israel, I will testify against you. I am God, your God.


For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all and is generous to all who call on him.


Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,


At that time, says the Lord, I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.


Therefore the Lord his God gave him into the hand of the king of Aram, who defeated him and took captive a great number of his people and brought them to Damascus. He was also given into the hand of the king of Israel, who defeated him with great slaughter.


Say therefore to the Israelites, ‘I am the Lord, and I will free you from the burdens of the Egyptians and deliver you from slavery to them. I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment.


“In your steadfast love you led the people whom you redeemed; you guided them by your strength to your holy abode.


Terror and dread fell upon them; by the might of your arm, they became still as a stone until your people, O Lord, passed by, until the people whom you acquired passed by.


He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his sight, and give heed to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you.”


Then God spoke all these words:


And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt that I might dwell among them; I am the Lord their God.


For I am the Lord who brought you up from the land of Egypt, to be your God; you shall be holy, for I am holy.


Now the angel of the Lord went up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, “I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you into the land that I had promised to your ancestors. I said, ‘I will never break my covenant with you.


For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I give Egypt as your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in exchange for you.


They did not say, “Where is the Lord who brought us up from the land of Egypt, who led us in the wilderness, in a land of deserts and pits, in a land of drought and deep darkness, in a land that no one passes through, where no one lives?”


Therefore, the days are surely coming, says the Lord, when it shall no longer be said, “As the Lord lives who brought the people of Israel up out of the land of Egypt,”


Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: I myself made a covenant with your ancestors when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, saying,


And I said to them, Cast away the detestable things your eyes feast on, every one of you, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt; I am the Lord your God.


I the Lord am your God; follow my statutes, and be careful to observe my ordinances,


Also I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.


When in the future your child asks you, ‘What does this mean?’ you shall answer, ‘By strength of hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt, from the house of slavery.


I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, to be your God.


For they are my servants, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt; they shall not be sold as slaves are sold.


For to me the people of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought out from the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.


When you go out to war against your enemies, and see horses and chariots, an army larger than your own, you shall not be afraid of them; for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt.


and I said to you, ‘I am the Lord your God; you shall not pay reverence to the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you live.’ But you have not given heed to my voice.”


When all the people saw it, they fell on their faces and said, “The Lord indeed is God; the Lord indeed is God.”


This occurred because the people of Israel had sinned against the Lord their God, who had brought them up out of the land of Egypt from under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. They had worshiped other gods


they served idols, of which the Lord had said to them, “You shall not do this.”


In distress you called, and I rescued you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder; I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Selah


“But my people did not listen to my voice; Israel would not submit to me.


and say to them: Thus says the Lord God: On the day when I chose Israel, I swore to the offspring of the house of Jacob—making myself known to them in the land of Egypt—I swore to them, saying, I am the Lord your God.


I spoke to the prophets; it was I who multiplied visions, and through the prophets I will bring destruction.
