Talk no more so very proudly, let not arrogance come from your mouth; for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.


The Rock, his work is perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God, without deceit, just and upright is he;


in order that you may remember and be confounded, and never open your mouth again because of your shame, when I forgive you all that you have done, says the Lord God.


I know, O Lord, that your judgments are right, and that in faithfulness you have humbled me.


Now I know that the Lord is greater than all gods, because he delivered the people from the Egyptians, when they dealt arrogantly with them.”


The God who made the world and everything in it, he who is Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in shrines made by human hands,


And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb: “Great and amazing are your deeds, Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways, King of the nations!


At that time Jesus said, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and the intelligent and have revealed them to infants;


When that period was over, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me. I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored the one who lives forever. For his sovereignty is an everlasting sovereignty, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation.


But the Lord of hosts is exalted by justice, and the Holy God shows himself holy by righteousness.


Mighty King, lover of justice, you have established equity; you have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.


And I heard the altar respond, “Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty, your judgments are true and just!”


They drank the wine and praised the gods of gold and silver, bronze, iron, wood, and stone.


How great are his signs, how mighty his wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his sovereignty is from generation to generation.


Was not your sister Sodom a byword in your mouth in the day of your pride,


His prayer, and how God received his entreaty, all his sin and his faithlessness, the sites on which he built high places and set up the sacred poles and the images, before he humbled himself, these are written in the records of the seers.


The Lord of hosts has planned it— to defile the pride of all glory, to shame all the honored of the earth.


Summon archers against Babylon, all who bend the bow. Encamp all around her; let no one escape. Repay her according to her deeds; just as she has done, do to her—for she has arrogantly defied the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.


As it was commanded to leave the stump and roots of the tree, your kingdom shall be re-established for you from the time that you learn that Heaven is sovereign.


The frogs shall come up on you and on your people and on all your officials.’ ”


Then the king said to Haman, “Quickly, take the robes and the horse, as you have said, and do so to the Jew Mordecai who sits at the king's gate. Leave out nothing that you have mentioned.”
