Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against the rider on the horse and against his army.


The God of peace will shortly crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.


The descendants of those who oppressed you shall come bending low to you, and all who despised you shall bow down at your feet; they shall call you the City of the Lord, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.


According to their deeds, so will he repay; wrath to his adversaries, requital to his enemies; to the coastlands he will render requital.


May his foes bow down before him, and his enemies lick the dust.


But as for these enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and slaughter them in my presence.’ ”


Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. With their faces to the ground they shall bow down to you, and lick the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord; those who wait for me shall not be put to shame.


I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.”


The Lord says to my lord, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.”


For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself says, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand,


Therefore let the entire house of Israel know with certainty that God has made him both Lord and Messiah, this Jesus whom you crucified.”
