and that repentance and forgiveness of sins is to be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.


I am writing to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven on account of his name.

It is not for your sake that I will act, says the Lord God; let that be known to you. Be ashamed and dismayed for your ways, O house of Israel.


No longer shall they teach one another, or say to each other, “Know the Lord,” for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord; for I will forgive their iniquity, and remember their sin no more.


O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is great power to redeem.


But there is forgiveness with you, so that you may be revered.


Happy are those whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.


But Jesus has now obtained a more excellent ministry, and to that degree he is the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted through better promises.


On that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity.


But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods and we will not worship the golden statue that you have set up.”


She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”
