He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.


And when the Lord raised them up judges, then the Lord was with the judge, and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented the Lord because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them.


but though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.


Hear me, O Lord; for thy loving-kindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.


Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving-kindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.


And the Lord was gracious unto them, and had compassion on them, and had respect unto them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, neither cast he them from his presence as yet.


And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.


I will mention the loving-kindnesses of the Lord, and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving-kindnesses.


Return, O Lord, how long? And let it repent thee concerning thy servants.


The Lord repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord God.

How shall I give thee up, E´phra-im? how shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set thee as Zebo´im? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.


For the Lord will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.


And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the Lord repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the Lord was by the threshingplace of Arau´nah the Jeb´usite.


For the Lord shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.

Nevertheless, I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.
