The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.


As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.


For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:


The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.


Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.


that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:


And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
