Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.


Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.


The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.


The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.


I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him.


The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.


For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.


Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.


to the one we are the savor of death unto death; and to the other the savor of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?


Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue, keepeth his soul from troubles.


Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
