The righteous is more excellent than his neighbor: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.


Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.


Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness.


Therefore was he hired, that I should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me.


And Saul said unto Michal, Why hast thou deceived me so, and sent away mine enemy, that he is escaped? And Michal answered Saul, He said unto me, Let me go; why should I kill thee?


Saul also sent messengers unto David's house, to watch him, and to slay him in the morning: and Michal David's wife told him, saying, If thou save not thy life tonight, tomorrow thou shalt be slain.


A hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbor: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.


A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.


He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.
