My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;


but rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.


And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.


And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also; knowing that tribulation worketh patience;


confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.


For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:


buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.


And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.


and by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.


And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar–jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
