Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me?


I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.


He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.


Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.


For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.


saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:


But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work today in my vineyard.


Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.


and say, Hear ye the word of the Lord, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.


Hear the word of the Lord, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomor´rah.


And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.


Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.


For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, which went out early in the morning to hire laborers into his vineyard.
