Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way: and all the people shall say, Amen.


Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honor the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the Lord.


Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.


Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling-block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.


Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the Lord your God.


But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Ba´laam, who taught Balak to cast a stumbling-block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.


But the former governors that had been before me were chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them bread and wine, besides forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants bare rule over the people: but so did not I, because of the fear of God.

Give none offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:


Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment; thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor.


The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
