Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?


But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?


But Isaiah is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.


but unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.


to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:


And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar–jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.


For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favor unto them.


And for this cause Hezeki´ah the king, and the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz, prayed and cried to heaven.


They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the Scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.


While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the Scripture might be fulfilled.


But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.


Ye hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,


Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?


My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.


And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.


But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:


Therefore they could not believe, because that Isaiah said again,
