When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,


and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.


The first day of the week cometh Mary Mag´dalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.


And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.


What hast thou here, and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth a habitation for himself in a rock?


And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpe´lah before Mamre: the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan.


And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre.


And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.


So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.


Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes.


and the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
