My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.


If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?


Even when I remember I am afraid, and trembling taketh hold on my flesh.


For now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin?


If I sin, then thou markest me, and thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity.


I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God?


And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? For now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek me in the morning, but I shall not be.


For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.


Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.


Though I speak, my grief is not assuaged: and though I forbear, what am I eased?


Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy;
