Now, my God, let, I beseech thee, thine eyes be open, and let thine ears be attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.


It may be the Lord thy God will hear the words of Rab–sha´keh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the Lord thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left.


I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.


For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.


Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.


and render unto our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.


O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?


Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.


He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.


It may be that the Lord will look on mine affliction, and that the Lord will requite me good for his cursing this day.


Lord, bow down thine ear, and hear: open, Lord, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennach´erib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God.


I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.


Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
