And the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeru-i´ah? so let him curse, because the Lord hath said unto him, Curse David. Who shall then say, Wherefore hast thou done so?


And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethu´el, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.


And Abim´elech said, Behold, my land is before thee: dwell where it pleaseth thee.


Then Laban and Bethu´el answered and said, The thing proceedeth from the Lord: we cannot speak unto thee bad or good.


And it came to pass, that, when Abraham's servant heard their words, he worshipped the Lord, bowing himself to the earth.


take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished.
