This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?


since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.


Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.


Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.


(for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;)


through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyr´icum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.


how shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?


to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:


So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.


Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness:)


For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
