He restored the coast of Israel from the entering of Hamath unto the sea of the plain, according to the word of the Lord God of Israel, which he spake by the hand of his servant Jonah, the son of Amit´tai, the prophet, which was of Gath–he´pher.


And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the Lord.


Then the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedeki´ah in Riblah before his eyes: also the king of Babylon slew all the nobles of Judah.


therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.


Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.


So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.


And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord God.


but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.


The Lord is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgai´on. Selah.


And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before the Lord our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days.


and the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon toward the sunrising, from Ba´al–gad under mount Hermon unto the entering into Hamath.
