so persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.


Then Eli´sha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.


yet I will send my servants unto thee tomorrow about this time, and they shall search thine house, and the houses of thy servants; and it shall be, that whatsoever is pleasant in thine eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away.


Then Jez´ebel sent a messenger unto Eli´jah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.


And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be tomorrow about this time in the gate of Samaria:


And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.


As yet exaltest thou thyself against my people, that thou wilt not let them go?


He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.


Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? Or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,


and they shall fill thy houses, and the houses of all thy servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians; which neither thy fathers, nor thy fathers' fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day. And he turned himself, and went out from Pharaoh.


And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.


And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.


which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
