Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.


He saw in a vision evidently, about the ninth hour of the day, an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.


Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.


And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense.


Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.


and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.


Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:


Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and, his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.


And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,


Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.


And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.


And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zeb´edee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.


And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart,


yea, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.


And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,


And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Eli´jah the prophet came near, and said, Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.


The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:


and when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.


Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.


who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked an alms.


And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
