And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.


Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.


who, when they came to Caesare´a, and delivered the epistle to the governor, presented Paul also before him.


What is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come.


Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen traveled as far as Phoeni´cia, and Cyprus, and An´ti-och, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.


And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyre´ne, which, when they were come to An´ti-och, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.


And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto An´ti-och.


Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to An´ti-och with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:


which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.
