Uri´ah the Hittite: thirty and seven in all.


And these were born unto him in Jerusalem; Shim´e-a, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bath–shu´a the daughter of Am´mi-el:


They were as fed horses in the morning: every one neighed after his neighbor's wife.


Uri´ah the Hittite, Zabad the son of Ah´lai,


but the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter.


Eliph´elet the son of Ahas´bai, the son of the Ma-ach´athite, Eli´am the son of Ahith´ophel the Gi´lonite,


because David did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, and turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uri´ah the Hittite.


Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
