And Eli´sha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou mayest certainly recover: howbeit the Lord hath showed me that he shall surely die.


And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.


But he went in, and stood before his master. And Eli´sha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Geha´zi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither.


And it came to pass on the morrow, that he took a thick cloth, and dipped it in water, and spread it on his face, so that he died: and Haz´a-el reigned in his stead.
