And Eli´jah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Ba´al, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.


But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.


But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.


And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women;)


He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.


But Zerub´babel, and Jesh´u-a, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel, said unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us to build a house unto our God; but we ourselves together will build unto the Lord God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded us.


Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Be´li-al, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.


Now therefore deliver us the men, the children of Be´li-al, which are in Gib´e-ah, that we may put them to death, and put away evil from Israel. But the children of Benjamin would not hearken to the voice of their brethren the children of Israel:


Now the sons of Eli were sons of Be´li-al; they knew not the Lord.


but brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.


who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
