I beseech thee, O Lord, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezeki´ah wept sore.


And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in all the way of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left.


And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward men.


Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;


Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblamably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

because David did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, and turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uri´ah the Hittite.

So Abi´jah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his stead. In his days the land was quiet ten years.


And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.


Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
