Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.


Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.


Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.


O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.


For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.


The mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.


Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.


And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.


Also Jehoi´ada appointed the offices of the house of the Lord by the hand of the priests the Levites, whom David had distributed in the house of the Lord, to offer the burnt offerings of the Lord, as it is written in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing, as it was ordained by David.


And the children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised the Lord day by day, singing with loud instruments unto the Lord.


And the whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days: and they kept other seven days with gladness.


So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.


And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy,


and kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy: for the Lord had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.


O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
